Why Typical Server doesn't sell pay-to-win
Every rank in the Typical Server store is cosmetics, chat perks, extra homes, and quality-of-life features. None of them make you hit harder, mine faster, or out-compete a player who hasn't spent anything. That's a deliberate line, not an accident, and it's worth explaining where exactly it sits.
What ranks unlock
Chat colors and prefixes, extra /sethome slots, particle trails, cosmetic pets, priority queue during busy periods, and access to cosmetic commands. Nothing on that list changes an outcome in survival, PvP, or the economy — it changes how your presence looks and how convenient a few quality-of-life actions are.
Where the line is
The test we use before adding anything to the store: could having it change who wins a fight, who gets a resource first, or who accumulates wealth faster? If the answer is yes, it doesn't go in the store — full stop. That's why you won't find kits with better gear, boosted drop rates, or economy multipliers behind a paywall on this network.
Why it matters to us
A network is only as fun as its worst incentive. The fastest way to hollow out a survival or Skyblock community is to let spending outcompete playing. We'd rather have a store people buy from because they like supporting the project and want to look good doing it, not because they feel like they have to keep up.
How the store actually works
Pick your game, tell us your in-game username, and choose a rank — ranks apply to your account across every server for that game. Checkout runs entirely off-site, so payment details never touch our systems directly. See the full rank lineup and pricing, or read more about what to do if a purchase doesn't apply correctly.
